The Sparkle Gala Dubai Aims to Raise AED 1.5 Million for Children in Malawi

The Sparkle Foundation, a UAE-registered charity providing aid to children in Malawi, proudly presents its third annual Sparkle Gala in Dubai on 23 November 2024, held at the iconic Jumeirah Emirates Towers.

The Sparkle Gala Dubai aims to raise AED 1.5 million to fund the foundation’s fourth site in Malawi which will serve 100 students once open, while 10% of the funds raised will go towards the Dubai Humanitarian Global Impact Fund, supporting humanitarian aid relief efforts in Lebanon, Gaza and beyond.

Last year’s Sparkle Gala in Dubai generated over AED 1 million for the charity, making history as the largest charity fundraiser for Africa in the UAE. From January to September 2024, 441 children aged two and a half to six years old received education, while 68 students successfully graduated from preschool to primary school or completed primary school support programs. Additionally, 15,599 medical treatments were provided across 8,170 clinic visits ensuring healthcare access. Furthermore, 64,470 meals, including breakfast and lunch, were served across all its sites in Malawi.

Donors will have the chance to bid on some extraordinary items with all proceeds going towards The Sparkle Foundation.
