  • Matagi unveils lively Ichigo Ichie Evening Brunch

There's a new evening brunch in the city and we're looking forward to this one at Matagi at Raffles The Palm Dubai, who blend the best of modern Japanese cuisine with the vibrant spirit of the season.

Starting on June 14th, guests are invited to enjoy the modern Japanese menu crafted with the spirit of mindfulness and appreciation for the simple pleasures. From 7pm to 11pm, a delectable feast of Japanese dishes exuding a symphony of taste and textures awaits while grooving to the tunes of a live DJ that will set the tone for a promising night. Guests can choose from a selection of packages, including the non-alcoholic package for AED 375, the House Beverage package for AED 475, and the Premium Beverage package for AED 575 per person.

To start the evening, light bites such as Tsukemono homemade Japanese pickles and sea-salted Edamame are followed with a selection of cold starters such as spicy tuna on crispy rice, and beef tataki with truffle ponzu, or hot starters such as the prawn gyoza with Matagi chilli paste and crispy calamari. Satisfying main dishes include the heavenly lamb chops prepared with gochujang and wasabi chimichurri and the salmon fillet marinated with teriyaki glaze topped with garlic chives, complemented with a choice of enjoyable sides such as vegetable fried rice, delectable vegetables and grilled corn with miso butter to complete the dishes. A dreamy taste of delightful desserts, including a signature Japanese cheesecake and rice pudding served with crispy cereal and yuzu curd, provides the perfect way to conclude the evening.
