Making getaways that bit easier with the announcement of plans to build a railway line that links both Oman to the UAE. While there is no confirmed timeline for this project, the announcement has brought joy to lots of people who love being able to escape and take road trips across to Oman. The train journey will likely take 1 hour 40 minutes from Abu Dhabi and passengers traveling from Al Ain will be able to reach Oman in just 47 minutes.
This will be a great tourism boost for both countries with tourists being able to have day or weekend trips between the two countries very doable.
