3 Top Tipples for Sober October by Founder of Drink Dry, Erika Doyle

I'm thrilled to have found a great non-alcoholic drink for every occasion - and since it is October, I thought I should share a few of my favourites..

WEEK NIGHTS

On nights during the week, when work is closed up for the day, and I can enjoy a show for a bit, I love Nirvana Pale Ale. It's a small brewery in the UK, available on drinkdrystore.com here in the UAE. It's richer than a pilsner and has more of a hop flavour which goes great with a salty tv snack.

DATE NIGHT

I love having a sparkling glass while I do my makeup and get ready. Something about a tall glass of golden bubbles makes me switch off from work mode entirely and feel excited for a night on the town. Before sober October, I discovered Martini Dolce 0.0, which became my go-to for Saturday nights. It's fresh, not too sweet, but still fruity. The best part is since it is alcohol-free, I won't struggle with liquid liner if I have a few glasses! Pour yourself a glass, and put on your playlist before you get the brushes out - it's guaranteed to set the tone for a great night out!

SPRITZ TIME

I usually don't finish the bottle of Martini Dolce 0.0, and that's the real magic - the leftovers the next day make for a fabulous spritz! I use Wilfred's non-alcoholic aperitif with rich orange and earthy rosemary flavours with some ice and a splash of soda. I like to take it out to my garden while I catch some sun and soak in those last bits of the weekend. It's also one of those drinks that is a terrific crowd-pleaser if guests pop by.
